I started it in the morning around 10.00ish and was finished in the afternoon by around 16.00.

This is the process

Drill holes and test insert the bolts. The bolts along with wingnuts will be used to hold on the bottom removable base to the access to the inside to clean it out if it's used.

Remove the bolts and saw off the bottom 25mm

Mark out the area to cut out

Start to drill out around the edge, this is the point where I wish I had a big lathe to turn it out

Drill a bigger hole to help the chopping out with the chisel

Start the cut out process

After a little tidy up install camera

Connect the camera cable and fix it to the shed

As you can see the nest is coming along nicely. We just hope they use it this year, last year they started the nest then abandoned it, apparently that's what they do, they start 2 nests then just choose 1. This one looks further on than last years so keeping fingers crossed  :xfingers
