Yes it's still me Choppa just looking at it from a global mod perspective

In the chatroom the actions are still over the text, I wonder if making the action less transparent would work better

Just found out that the max-width I set of 980px for the messages isn't any good on a narrow website like this. On QL I've set the site wider than here so now the max message width is now 970. If you hover over my messages you see the actions are now clear of the message text

The mod creator added code so it can be on or off the portal. I had to recode all the instances of 'shoutbox' in the entire mod and change it to 'ushoutbox' so that it could be used with the other shoutbox that is installed on QL. After rigorous testing  you probably noticed I manged to do it OK

Although perhaps not in the Chatroom

Actions seem to be OK now & not overlaid on the long text

How did you manage to get the shoutbox om the forum page ? Was it  the update you installed or did you need to insert some code directly in the page ?

This message is deliberately long so that I can show the mod writer the issue with the 'shoutbox-message-actions' that with a long shout the 'shoutbox-message-actions' are on top of the text.

lol just re-read your shout and it might be that the chatroom has a delay when on/offline, the 'User online time threshold' is set to 10 mins on this site test
