My first build of a dollshouse, bought as a kit from Hobbies
Once it's all unpacked the first thing to do it put it together using packing tape to ensure all the pieces fit with one another.

Once that is done and you know it's OK then start putting it together for real. I had this brainwave that it would be a good idea to paint the inside before putting it together so I didn't have to mess around in fiddly areas once it was built. My only mistake in that part of the process was I didn't paint the ceilings so I still had to paint in fiddly places :headwall

Time to start painting the outside and the bits I missed before

With the painting done we can now start the wallpaper in the rooms

Wallpaper now done time to add the staircases and floor coverings

Now time to add the window sills and the surrounds to the windows and door on the front of the house

Now it's time to fit the main doors onto the house
