This was the second box which was made as a wedding present for Charlotte and Richard.

Starting with the basic component parts using shelving bought from B&Q

Now to make the fencing and windows etc

Now check they all fit ok

Now to paint them

Now to start putting it all together. You may see the letter box and door knocker in the photo below

Now it's time to start adding the roof tiles. The tiles are made out of resin but look very realistic once stuck on.

Now the roof tiles are on it's time to add the ridge tiles. These are made from the same resin as the tiles.

That's it complete, all I have to do now is check the access hatch is working OK. You will see from the photos below I have created a brass pin that slides in and out of the base and into the access hatch, the idea of this is so that you just pull the pin out and the hatch drops down and you don't have to unscrew the box off the wall or the hatch itself making the cleaning of it in the late summer/autumn easier
